ACCESSIBILITY

New Century are proud to feature several facilities around the venue to make our space a comfortable experience for customers with access requirements.

We require a minimum of 7 days notice for any accessibility requests to use the venue’s facilities. We cannot confirm that access requirements will be met if requests are submitted after this time.

ACCESS REQUIREMENTS FORM

All customers with access requirements, who would like to attend one of our shows, are advised to first purchase an accessible ticket via this link: https://dice.fm/venue/new-century-n8al?lng=en

The ticket purchased must be one of the allocated ‘Accessible’ tickets, not a General Admission. You will be asked for proof of this purchase on the form. Once your purchase has been confirmed, please then fill out our online Access Requirement Form which can be found at the bottom of this page.

Someone from our Accessibility Team will then be in touch once your form is submitted to confirm your request.

Please note: Our venue is limited to accessible space and so only those with access needs and their dedicated carer will be given access to the area. Any other members of the party will be required to remain in the general standing area.

CARERS TICKET SCHEME

For those customers who require full time care, we are able to supply one free ticket to a dedicated carer, alongside proof of an accessible ticket purchase from yourself.

You must provide proof of need of care on the Access Requirements Form in order to obtain this carer ticket. We understand some customers may require care without relevant proof, so please contact us and we will deal with all requests individually.

This scheme is run on a first come first served basis up to the capacity of the designated area.

ABOUT OUR VENUE

New Century Hall is a general standing venue. We are located on the first level, above New Century Kitchen, however a lift is available. We have a total of four accessible toilets, one in the ground floor lobby, one in the Kitchen and two on the first floor.

We are a Grade II listed building and therefore any modifications that we can make to the building is limited. We have been able to install a 2 foot high accessible viewing platform that seats approximately 12-16 people. Any further seating required by customers will be positioned on the floor level and is expected to have a restricted view of the stage.

Last entry times will be advertised on the event details, however we advise that all access customers arrive 10 minutes before doors opening so that our accessibility team will be able to provide you with priority access.

GUIDE DOGS
Guide dogs are permitted to enter the venue, however, we do ask that we are made aware of this prior to the event.
STROBE LIGHTING AND SPECIAL EFFECTS
The use of strobe lighting and special effects vary from show to show. If you are concerned, please contact us so that we can assist you further.
Accessibility Requirements Form
All customers with accessible tickets are required to fill out this form in order to be provided a space within the venue’s accessibility area. Please can any customers with temporary access requirements also fill out this form, e.g. pregnancy, broken bones.
Click or drag a file to this area to upload.
The ticket you have purchased must be an accessible ticket. If you have purchased a general admission ticket instead but require accessibility, please email access@newcenturyhall.com to see if there is still access ticket availability.
*Only one carer or accompanying guest will be permitted into our accessibility area with you due to capacity restrictions. All other members of the party will be required to stay in the general access area.
