GENERAL ENQUIRIES

Located in the NOMA district of Manchester, New Century has the best transport links right on its doorstep. We always encourage all of our customers to use public transport when they are able to do so. Shudehill Tram stop is a 2 minute walk away, as well as Victoria Train Station.

Yes! You can book online for up to 12 people or enquire for larger parties HERE. 

No, we operate a cashless system here at New Century.

We are! Your furry friends are more than welcome downstairs (please see below about taking dogs into the Hall).

HALL ENQUIRIES

Accurate set times for all shows are available to view at the box office from 5pm on the day of the event. Please refer to this information, as they may vary event to event. New Century Kitchen however will be open from morning til late, where you can enjoy a selection of street food traders, great drinks, and entertainment pre and post show.

We ask that you please do not wear sportswear, or anything with political or offensive statements printed on it. Studded shoes are also not permitted for safety purposes.

Yes, everyone entering the venue will be subject to a search prior to entry. This will include a check of bags. Any bags bigger than an A4 piece of paper are not permitted into the venue.

On event nights our cloakroom will be open, this is located next to the box office at the main entrance, cost is £3 per item.

Last entry times will be as advertised on the events details. New Century Hall operates a no re-entry policy, meaning you will be unable to leave the premises once you have had your ticket scanned unless you are permanently leaving. For security reasons, there is also no entry to New Century Kitchen once you have had your ticket scanned, but you are more than welcome to grab a bite to eat there before you enter the Hall! The conjoining doors to New Century Kitchen will re-open once the event has ended. If you have any queries, please email us at hello@newcenturymcr.com

New Century hosts a wide range of shows, with a variety of age restrictions. Please check out our events page, and find relevant information on the event itself. We do operate a challenge 25 policy, so please bring valid ID (Drivers Licence, Passport, PASS card).

We will only allow guide dogs to be permitted entry into the venue. Doggies are more than welcome in the Kitchens however (with supervision)!

New Century Hall does not permit the following to be brought into the venue: 

  • Professional Cameras
  • Illegal substances
  • Nitrous Oxide Canisters
  • Liquids
  • Food
  • Explosives
  • Ammunition
  • Horns
  • Whistles
  • Fireworks
  • Flares
  • Any item that may be used as a weapon
  • Any item that may cause danger or disruption to the audience

The team at New Century reserves the right to confiscate any prohibited items, and anybody found in possession of them may be refused admission, removed from the venue, and may be held liable for prosecution. 

If a customer would like to bring in a prohibited item with a valid reason, i.e. medical reasons, then they must contact the venue prior so that this can be arranged with the team. 

TICKETING ENQUIRIES

Please refer any ticketing enquiries to the ticket provider you have purchased from.

Our partner ticketing company, Dice, runs a waitlist for tickets to be put on resale. Please refer to Dice for more information.

Unfortunately we are unable to assist with any tickets bought second hand, outside of the authorised Dice resale platform.

SAFETY

At New Century, we operate a very strict, but simple policy. If anybody is accused, by anyone of harassing somebody, physically or verbally, that person will be escorted off of the premises. New Century also reserve the right to inform the police.

New Century operates a zero tolerance on any drugs being brought into the venue, without prior consent due to medical purposes. Illegal substances caught on an individual will result in that person being detained, with the police being called. New Century has substantial CCTV around the venue which can be monitored at any point. All persons entering the premises will be liable to be searched. Any resistance to a search will be met with refusal of entry.

If anybody believes that they may have had their drink tampered with, then they should contact any member of staff whereby an assessment will be done, and safeguarding practice will come into place to ensure that person’s safety. Medics will also be available on certain shows for medical advice.
