ENTRANCE ENQUIRIES
What time is entry to an event?
Entry times for the events space will be advertised on our events page, & by the ticket provider. Please refer to this information, as they may vary event to event. New Century Kitchen however will be open from morning til late, where you can enjoy a selection of street food traders, great drinks, and entertainment.
What is the dress code?
All that we ask at New Century is please do not wear anything with political or offensive statements printed on it. Studded shoes are also not okay for safety purposes.
Can I bring my bag? Are there searches?
Yes, all personnel entering the venue will be subject to a search prior to entry. This will include a check of bags. Any bags bigger than an A4 piece of paper are not permitted into the venue.
Is there a last entry time? Can I go out, and come back in again?
Last entry times will be as advertised on the events details. New Century operates a no re-entry policy, please do not leave the premises once you have had your ticket scanned as you will not be permitted re-entry.
How old do I have to be to come to a show?
New Century hosts a wide range of shows, with a variety of age restrictions. Please check out our events page, and find relevant information on the event itself. We do operate a challenge 25 policy, so please bring valid ID (Drivers Licence, Passport, PASS card).
Can I bring my dog?
We will only allow guide dogs to be permitted entry into the venue. Doggies are more than welcome in the Kitchens however (with supervision)!
What items are prohibited?
New Century Hall does not permit the following to be brought into the venue: 
  • Illegal substances
  • Liquids
  • Food
  • Explosives
  • Fireworks
  • Flares
  • Any item that may be used as a weapon

The team at New Century reserves the right to confiscate any prohibited items, and anybody found in possession of them may be refused admission, removed from the venue, and may be held liable for prosecution.  If a customer would like to bring in a prohibited item with a valid reason, i.e. medical reasons, then they must contact the venue prior so that this can be arranged with the team. 
TICKETING ENQUIRIES
I haven’t received my ticket yet?
Please refer any ticketing enquiries to the ticket provider you have purchased from
I am trying to purchase a ticket, but the event says that it is sold out. Can I purchased tickets from anywhere else?
Our partner ticketing company, Dice, runs a waitlist for tickets to be put on resale. Please refer to Dice for more information.
I purchased a second hand ticket from somebody who is not an authorised reseller for New Century. Can you check if it is legitimate?
Unfortunately, we cannot assist with any tickets bought second hand, outside of the authorised Dice resale platform.
For any further ticketing enquiries, please refer to the outlet that you purchased from.
SAFETY
What are you doing to protect people against harassment?
At New Century, we operate a very strict, but simple policy. If anybody is accused, by anyone, of harassing somebody, physically or verbally, that person will be escorted off of the premises, and New Century also reserve the right to inform the police.
What are you doing to protect people against spiking?
New Century operates a zero tolerance on any drugs being brought into the venue without prior consent due to medical purposes. Illegal substances caught on an individual will result in that person being detained, with the police being called. New Century has substantial CCTV around the venue, which can be monitored at any point. All persons entering the premises will be liable to be searched. Any resistance to a search will be met with refusal of entry.

If anybody believes that they may have had their drink tampered with, then they should contact any member of staff whereby an assessment will be done, and safeguarding practice will come into place to ensure that person’s safety. Medics will also be available on certain shows for medical advice.
What are you doing to protect people against COVID-19?
Hand sanitiser units are available at several locations throughout the premises, and the venue is well ventilated with use of an extract system. If you have any concerns, please refer to the contact email above, and we will try to assist you further.
