Located directly beneath the historic hall, Locker is New Century’s raw new room, designed to bring an intimate edge to Manchester’s music and nightlife scene. It swaps the polished vintage feel of the upper floor for low ceilings, exposed architecture, and a focused, subterranean energy. Equipped with a sound system you can expect from New Century and custom lighting, the space was designed specifically for live gigs, club nights, and DJ sets. It acts as a natural counterweight to the main hall above, offering a close-quarters experience where artists and audiences are properly connected. Complete with its own dedicated bar (and actual lockers for your stuff), Locker is also available for private hire, late-night takeovers, and bespoke events looking for a distinctive backdrop.
